Our tartan blankets in recycled brushed wool are designed in Edinburgh and woven in a dense twill weave for that perfectly warm feel that will carry you through the coldest day. It's extra large size makes it suitable for draping over sofas or using as a throw on a king size bed, it's impossible to resist their warm invitation to rest your sleepy head.
Recycling wool can be challenging as the fibers can be too short to respin. Our solution is to blend recycled wool with longer mixed fibers saved from landfills to create a soft and durable yarn woven in a dense twill weave and brushed for texture. All the benefits of wool in a sustainable blanket! What’s more, they’re even machine washable.
Our recycled wool blankets contain pre-loved fibers that may differ slightly in color, design, and size. These blankets measure 69" x 98", including fringing.
