We start with 100% Supima cotton grown in the southwestern United States, which is then sent to India, where our manufacturing partner is located. Since the beginning, this woman-owned textile manufacturer has worked with us to create our hand-crafted, small-batch cotton percale. Together, we reimagined the textile manufacturing process from start to finish, eliminating harsh chemicals, using wind-power and recycled rainwater, and focusing on quality without compromising our ethical or product standards. The result is our signature percale bedding.
Our cotton is grown in the southwestern United States, supporting over 5000 American farms.
We only use 100% Supima cotton grown in the United States when creating our comfortable, breathable cotton sheets. Starting here, we use only the longest and strongest fibers that can be spun into stronger, finer yarns. Using the highest quality fibers, we're able to produce an extremely smooth and supple weave that’s breathable and luxurious.
With proper care, your percale sheets will last for years. One of the best things about our percale bedding is it will get softer and more comfortable with repeated laundering.

No, we do not have a brick-and-mortar retail store. You can always order through our website at thomasleesheets.com or if you’re looking for a more personal experience, call 1-877-866-5331, Monday through Friday, from 8 am until 5 pm EST and one of our representatives will be happy to assist you.
While our heirloom-quality percale is an incredible value every day, on occasion, we do offer discounts to customers on our email list.
Our Percale
Our percale is true 500 thread count, meaning 500 threads per square inch.
Companies claiming higher thread counts often use inferior thread that has been plied together before weaving. This practice leads to inflated claims on thread count and creates a fabric woven with a higher quantity of lower-quality threads. For example, “1,000” thread count sheets are often made by twisting four inferior threads together to create a single thread the size and quality of one of Thomas Lee’s. Their real thread count is actually 250, just half that of Thomas Lee’s signature percale bedding.

PerfectCale® is the trademark we use for our signature cotton percale sheets and pillowcases. PerfectCale® bedding is offered exclusively by Thomas Lee.
The natural color of cotton varies from year to year. More sun, less rain, and harvest time all affect the natural color of the cotton we use. Because we don’t use harsh chemicals or dyes, you may notice a color variation from year to year, but never a change in quality.
No. At Thomas Lee, we prefer not to use the heavy dyes necessary in producing some colors, maintaining the comfort and durability of our beloved percale bedding. We've also found that our most requested colors are white and ivory, perfect for achieving that "hotel" bed feel at home.
That said, if you're still craving color, our bamboo sheet collection does offer expanded color options.

No, Thomas Lee’s percale bedding is OEKO-Tex certified and finished naturally.
Oeko-Tex is an independent testing and certification system that tests textiles in all stages of manufacturing to ensure human health and safety as well as the Earth’s. Oeko-Tex institutes monitor textiles to ensure they are free of over 100 nasty, harmful chemicals that other bedding may contain and other bodies are not regulating.
Oeko-Tex is a voluntary certification that is more stringent than required by most governments. It tests products through all stages of the manufacturing lifecycle, from raw materials to finished products. They must determine the optimal handling of wastewater and emissions, chemical management, waste management, and fair working conditions. This certification must be renewed every year.

No. We know from personal experience that Thomas Lee percale sheets are an excellent fit on a Tempur-Pedic mattress.
The pockets on our percale fitted sheets are 18 inches deep, which will accommodate most of today's thicker mattresses. Because of the high-quality elastic sewn around the entire perimeter of our fitted sheet (not just in the pockets), they can easily stretch to fit a wide range of mattress depths.
The pockets on our bamboo fitted sheets measure 15 inches deep.
Tip: When making your bed, be sure to tuck any surplus fabric at the edge between the mattress and the box spring for the most secure fit.

Care Guide
Congratulations, you’re about to sleep like a dream! While it's not absolutely necessary, we recommend washing your percale bedding before its first use. Follow our care instructions, and we're sure that you'll be amazed.
Yes, and we love those comfortable wrinkles! The only way to make a fabric "wrinkle-free" or "wrinkle-resistant" is to incorporate a stiffer yarn like polyester into the fabric or treat the fabric with a resin, like formaldehyde, during the finishing process. In addition to all those chemicals, that wrinkle-free magic comes with an unpleasant, rough texture and reduced durability.
When laundering your Thomas Lee sheets, use the cold wash cycle on your machine. Any popular laundry detergent will do; remember to use only 1/4 to 1/3 the recommended amount of detergent. Too much soap will make your sheets feel scratchy, and we can't have that!
We recommend a cold water rinse and a second rinse cycle, if possible.
Never use chlorine bleach or fabric softeners. Bleach weakens the cotton fibers, and your Thomas Lee sheets are naturally soft.
You can use any popular laundry detergent if it doesn’t include fabric softener. We recommend using 1/3 to 1/4 of the recommended amount of detergent and adding an extra cold rinse cycle. Too much detergent can leave your sheets feeling scratchy.
Never! Bleach weakens the cotton fibers.
Tumble dry on low or warm. Avoid using high heat to dry your linens because it will "cook" the sheet fibers and cause them to lose their natural softness. Remember to skip the dryer sheets; your sheets are naturally soft.
Remove your sheets promptly at the end of the drying cycle and smooth them while folding. You can also iron while your linens are still damp using the cotton or linen setting on your iron.
Never! Fabric softener leaves a waxy build-up on the cotton fibers, and your sheets are naturally soft.
Sure! Feel free to iron, but most of the time, removing them promptly from the dryer and hand smoothing them on the bed works like a charm.
We do not recommend home laundering a down comforter. Standard detergent can adhere to the down, leading it to clump together and damage your bedding. For the best results, take your down comforter to a professional launderer with the experience and the know-how required to care for down products.
Once laundered, consider investing in a duvet cover to offer an added layer of protection for your comforter. A duvet cover is far easier to care for and will prolong the life of your comforter.
